Manhattan, Kan. -- K-State is expected to hire Ron Prince as its 33rd head football coach. A news conference could come as soon as Monday afternoon, sources told The Star on Friday night.

Prince was raised in Junction City, Kan., about 20 miles from Manhattan.

At least we won't have to worry about drastic typos in Coach Prince's name.
